Level 2 Heatwave

Current watch level: Level 2 – Alert and Readiness

There is a 60 % probability of heatwave conditions between 1200 on Monday and 2100 on Wednesday in parts of England.

High temperatures are expected to continue across much of England and Wales over the next few days but not quite reach threshold criteria, giving a Level 2 Heat Health Watch for the following areas: the East Midlands, East of England, Southeast England and London.
An update will be issued when the alert level changes in any region. Alerts are issued once a day by 0900 if required and are not subject to amendment in between standard issue times. Note that the details of the forecast weather are valid at the time of issue but may change over the period that an alert remains in force.
